Electrician St Kilda – Piccolina Gelateria

CED services were brought on-site to St Kilda at Piccolina Gelateria for the refurbishment of the store. The renovated interiors were designed by Hecker Gutherie. St Kilda is mostly known for its beaches, located about seven km outside the CBD area. Also known for its penguin pier, St Kilda is a popular tourist attraction for many visitors to Melbourne. CED Services were called on-site to assist with the electrical and communications services for the gelateria store. 

Electrical services provided:

• Main switchboard

Communication services provided:

• CAT6 data cabling throughout

As mentioned above, CED services were required for commercial electrical and communication requirements for the optimization of the business. The very basic requirements of lighting, power and main switchboard were provided. The lighting fixtures were selected keeping in mind to highlight the space and the products inside the store. The type of lighting style installed in the store was accent lighting, in order to make the products pop and draw the customers’ attention to that. For communications, CAT6 data cabling was provided to allow fast speeds of the internet of 1000 Mbps or more. This was done to ensure that communication services would not be a problem in the smooth operation of the business, online services being a big part of that.
