Electricians at CED Services worked on the RASL (Racing Analytical Services Laboratory) in Flemington. The facility has been running for over 25 years and is an institution in the racing community. It is also located right next to the most famous horse racing arena in Australia: Flemington Racecourse. The new safety features that we installed in this building will keep this vital service location protected for years to come.

In this job, we fitted out their entire laboratory with fire protective systems. We began with overhead sprinklers. These are important as they automatically activate during the event of a fire and are very effective in extinguishing the fire with water. The evacuation systems that we installed are also important, if not more important than the overhead sprinklers. The evacuation system that we fitted included an emergency warning and intercom sound that instructed patrons to safely evacuate to their nearest exit.
